Happy November!

HAPPY NOVEMBER EVERYONE!! Today we ventured to the Disney area to meet up with a longtime friend. Brooke, her husband Brennan, and daughter Teegan (27 months) were down for a few days from Vermont. We spent the day with a quick visit at the Swan and Dolphin hotel and Jaejin had his first experience being on a beach. He loved it and couldn't get enough of the sand between his fingers. We later ventured to downtown disney for some lunch and a nice walk around to all the shops. We had such a good time and the kiddos enjoyed themselves too.
Everyday Jaejin surprises us with new things he has learned or accomplished. He is really growing big and I think he will be a fantastic big brother. Jaejin will become officially a US citizen on November 24th. We will be traveling down to Sarasota to stand before the judge and make him official. It will be an exciting day. Any children adopted from Korea must be in the US for six months before they can become a citizen. Once they do so their citizenship is terminated with Korea. (Korea does not allow dual citizenship.)
The weather has been so nice. The humidity is gone and we are enjoying the cooler weather. This time of year reminds us of California.
We will be spending the Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends locally since traveling is not an option right now. It will be nice not to have to cook an entire dinner since it will be a potluck. That said I will end this by saying Happy Thanksgiving!
