8 months

Wow! 8 months! Where has the time gone? It seems like yesterday when I was only 5 months along and thinking I have how many more to go? I have my next OB appointment tomorrow and then my visits should be on a weekly basis. Surprisingly I am feeling pretty good during the mornings and then by early afternoon I hit a wall and just want to sleep. I power through and then feel pretty exhausted by nighttime. You would think I would be sleeping pretty good at night but not a chance. I am definitely uncomfortable as far as the belly goes. I am happy to say my belly button is still an innie (barely) and NO stretch marks!!! (knocking on wood right now) We have decided on a name which we will announce soon once we confirm the middle name. We have decided to go the Scottish route since that is Jason's background. Luckily and thankfully Jason will have a bunch of time off once the baby is born. We are lucky that his work provides 4 weeks of paternity leave. Also, he has two weeks off during the Christmas season! Last year marked seven years at his job so he got seven weeks of sebatical which he only took 3 and extended the remainder 4 weeks to 2009. On top of that he gets his usual PTO. He will not be taking all this time off at once. We are planning a vacation back home to California next summer which we are looking forward to.
