Happy Halloween everyone! Today was quite a day for Jaejin's first halloween. Jaein dressed up as an old fashion golfer. He refused to wear the hat but I think he looked pretty darn cute. We ventured to Jason's work for some trick-or-treating and a party. Six floors of co-workers passing out candy!! Tons of little kiddos making bank on the candy for sure. The picture is of Jaejin and Claire. She is the daughter of one of my girlfriends whose husband works at EA with Jason. She is two and a half years old and they love hanging out together. I wish I took more pics of today's events but my hands became very full, very fast. Needless to say Jaejin had a blast and couldn't get enough of the balloons and footballs. Surprisingly we had a good amount of trick-or-treaters show up at our house. The past couple of years were duds so I didn't buy as much candy this year. I guess since halloween fell on a Friday night this year we had an abundance. I started to run out of candy and luckily found a bag of sweet tarts in my pantry...bought months ago from cravings.
I am now 31 weeks and counting down. I am feeling pretty good, though I still get sick about 3 days a week. It has become second nature now. I had my last OB check up last week and found out I have borderline gestational diabetes. They want to retest again at 35 weeks...yuck!! I have only gained 13 pounds from the weight I had lost from being so sick to now. I imagine the next two months I will be packing on the weight. Regardless...I have cravings for fast food and sweets which now I am suppose to stay away from. (Not going to happen)
The weather this past week was freezing!!! It was a nice change and we are now slowly heating back up again. Tomorrow we are venturing to a fall fiesta at Lake Eola. Lots of booths with arts and crafts, food, and a kid zone. We'll see what crafty things I come home with. Luckily Jason will be in tow so I am sure he will limit me and edit anything I want to purchase.
