Babies, babies, babies!! It seems like everyone around us are having babies! My sister Ronda had my nephew Ethan in August 2008, good friends of ours had a baby girl, Kate at the end of December, Loch was born New Years day, my sister Julie is currenlty in labor as I type this, Jason's best friend Dave and his wife Lindsay are having a baby in less than two months, and Jason also has a few co-workers who just had babies or will be having them soon.
Lochlan just had his two month check up and he is healthy. He is also a big boy! He is currently weighing 13 pounds and is in 80th percentile for his weight. His head and length are in the 25th and 30th percentile. The doctor advised me to start feeding him every 3 to 4 hours during the day and only one feeding at night. I tried this yesterday once we got home from the visit and Loch did surprisingly well. Hopefully we can keep it up without too much of a fuss.
Jaejin has been in our arms for a full year now. We celebrated by having a family day with cake and icecream and we will continue the tradition annually. He continues to be a great big brother and even cried as Lochlan got his first set of vaccines.
This past weekend we took a day trip to the east coast and the boys got to experience the beach for the first time. It was lots of fun and plan on doing it again possibly this weekend. Jaejin was funny and wasn't sure what to do when his bare feet hit the sand. He kind of stood there in shock and fear. It didn't take him too long to warm up to it though. The ocean on the other hand will take awhile.
The next few months are going to be pretty busy which will make time fly even faster. Our weekends seem to be packed with activities. We look forward to Jason's brothers family visit over spring break as they do annually, we will be making a family trip home to San Diego in June, and then possibly a weekend trip to Fort Lauderdale in July.
I hope March finds all of you happy and healthy.
